Optics Question Part Deux

Does anyone here have experience with Kahles "American Hunter" scope, or Swarovski "American" scopes? Both are the low-end products (if you can call a $700.00 scope low end) for their brands.

Shops up this way don't carry either, and I'm curious how they compare to a Leupold VX-III or Burris Black diamond.

Besides their respective optics, how's the customer service and durability?

Thanks for your replies.

this question may get more replies on a hunting oriented forum like www.24hourcampfire.com or www.baitshopboyz.com ...

it is awfully tough to beat a leupold as far as all-around value - especially the vx-3 line. optical quality is good, brightness is real good, weight is better than anything comparable by anybody else, eye-relief is as good as it gets, and it is non-critical (huge bonus)...
