I picked up a PPK/S at the funshow yesterday to carry when I'm not carrying a real gun.

I figured I could throw together a pocket rig for it...all in all, this took about an hour. Whaddaya think?

That looks nifty. How smooth is the draw? It seems like you might pull the holster out with the gun if it's really grippy.

Draws smoothly every time, so far...See the "wings?" They catch the edge of the pocket. In fact, it's hard to get the holster part out of a pocket even when you want to.

Nice. I like to saran wrap a pencil to the top of the slide before I bone the holster. It makes for less hang up on the front sight.
I also put the natural smooth side toward the gun. Often I Gorrila glue the joints before stitching but I then need to drill for the stitch holes.

Yep, me too. For an IWB, rough side out keeps the gun exactly where you put it.

Looks like good work to me, do you have a favorite tool for the molding work or are you just using your fingers?

I just used the back part of the handle of the tool you see in the pic.
