Anyone know of a site that lists the different variants of the 1874 rifle made by Sharps? I know they made custom rifles so there's a lot of variety, but I'm really just wondering if all the different replicas on the market today are historically accurate.

'Sharps Firearms' by Frank Sellers is pretty much the basic text on them. Shiloh also has reprints of period catalogs.

I don't know where to get that sort of information free on the internet.
I would figure that the American replicas from Shiloh and C. Sharps are pretty close, at least feature by feature. They might make one up out of standard features but not actually sold by Sharps in the day.
Some of the imports are not very faithful copies.
