I just got my new laminated stainless savage ml-II. Initial results are mixed with one smokeless powder I'm getting 3-4" at 100 yds, but with another powder I'm getting 3/4" :what:(yes thats .75") groups at 100 yds. I'm sure looking foward to tinkering with this muzzleloader.

Hoss, sounds like the tinkering is finished with that rifle, man I wish I had one! Three quarter inch groups, I can't do that with my centerfire.:what:

when i saw 3-4" groups i was surprised.... 0.75 sounds more like what i've heard about those guns.

sounds like they are really cool. i just really hope they dont get someone killed when someone stuffs 70 grains of smokeless into it instead of blackpowder.

No, its not really new, I believe it been around since about 2000. Just got mine though and still looking for all the combo's it likes.
