Well folk's, I must say I give Smith & Wesson a "thumbs up" on their recent
sales promotions; as I received my brand new all leather DeSantis holster
and single mag pouch in the mail today, 03 December 07~! This is a good
deal, and 'bout a $90 value. Here is the way it works-

Buy any S&W 1911 style auto-loading pistol and receive an "in store" coupon
from your sales person. Fill out all the required information on the coupon,
and attach a photo copy of your sales receipt, and send it to Smith & Wesson
in Springfield, MA. Allow 6 to 8 weeks (I doubt it will take that long~!*) for
delivery, and it will come USPS to your mailing address. Even with all the
leather I own, I couldn't be more satisfied, with this most excellent offer~!

*FootNote- my paperwork was mailed to S&W on November 6th, and I
received my free gifts today, 03 December 07. Only one entry, per
verifiable serial number is allowed under this program.

How's the DeSantis working? I usually like thumb straps, but that holster looks slick.

I'm not in the market for a 1911 this year, but that offer is the only S&W promotion I'd consider. Don't have a boat, so no need for a Sigma-brand boat anchor. Actually, I'd reconsider if they gave me $99.

Well, the DeSantis is brand spanking new and I haven't had a chance to use
it just yet~? But, its a well made design; without a strap, and it has a screw
to adjust the tension needed to secure the weapon. :scrutiny: :D
