Best way to mount a laser on an AK?

I am looking to mount a laser on an AK, and I'm not sure which of the mounting options out there are most suitable. I need a standard rail that is stable enough to hold a consistent zero, and which won't obstruct my iron sights. All the gas tube rails would obstruct the sights (I assume), and I'm not sure which (if any) of the lower handguard or quad rails are stable enough for sighting devices.

Any knowledge on the subject would be appreciated...

This may help...

Basically you just want a forward grip (lower) with a rail. Then you can put on anything. They should hold zero well enough.

I must say though... the idea sounds silly to me. An AK is a broadsword, not a scalpel.

EDIT: There's this...
