Hello, I have a friend that just bought an Armalite Ar-30 in 338 Lapua Magnum. He was told by the dealers to load them with 88 grains of IMR 4831. We are unsure if this is too much..we looked on the Hodgdon site and it listed the max for this powder at 85.0 grains.

He is loading them in Lapua cases with 250 grain Sierra Match King bullet.

Just thought we post this to make sure the gun doesnt Explode upon firing :evil:

All these are max or near max in my AI.
