My Kahr K40 has Trijicon night sights mounted in dovetails front and rear. I want to do some FINE adjusting. I know about the old hammer and dowel rod method but I don't want to go that route and possibly ruin an expensive sight.
Does any one know of a safer method? Remember these are to be FINE adjustments. Is there a commercially available tool that I can purchase at a reasonable price that will do the job?
I have tried several sizes of "C" clamps but they are too clumsy and I don't want to scratch my gun.
Any advise would be very much appreciated. John

Brownell's sells sight pushers, but they are not cheap.
I consider mine a good investment and even though I only use it once or at the most twice a year would never be without one.
The route many go is to buy one, use it for what they need and then sell it.
They seem to sell quite well in the various "for sale" forums.

The sight pusher is the way to go to get those fine adjustments. Plus once you have invested in the adjustment tool, you can use it on other guns too.
