Site crash and thread delete

I had a post classifieds, WTB cartridges. While working on responses last night, the site became unresponsive, and when I logged in this morning the thread was gone. However, private messages originating from the thread were still in my inbox.
I suspect that the thread was lost due to site troubles, however I want to make sure I didn't violate some listing rule and have my thread deleted.
Regards
Jess

I want to make sure I didn't violate some listing rule and have my thread deleted. You did, and it was.
We thought having the one basic rule that caused your thread to be deleted explained in bold several times and in detail in the rules thread would suffice. It's amazing how many don't seem to be able to find it.
Your thread from this morning is also in violation, but I'll leave it up for a while to allow you to edit it. (Hint - use Go Advanced after you press Edit.)

Fixed. Thanks for the heads up. Also thanks for your work maintaining the BBS.
I would suggest that in your response, instead of two long sentences and a mini-rant, simply telling me to add my location would be enough.
I've posted quite a few things for sale and haven't forgotten until now. Shame on me.
Have a good weekend.

telling me to add my location would be enough. My response wasn't only for you otherwise I would have sent a PM. The number of members who don't read the rules is not a trivial number.
I've posted quite a few things for sale and haven't forgotten until now. Shame on me.You have had a total of 5 threads deleted due to no location in the title and 3 that weren't deleted.

I stand corrected, and my apologies. I guess I don't go back and look at posts after as often as I should.
Cheers.
