I like to think that I was born an activist. I guess as soon as I was old enough to understand the world I wanted to change it.

Anteater1717 December 21, 2007, 12:26 AM What in particular do you want to do? Robert Hairless December 21, 2007, 06:31 AM You're really Barack Obama, aren't you? I thought I recognized your speeches. Fess up, shaunx. Can you make the world a little warmer for a while? Just a couple of days would do for me. I need to do some work outside and it's much too cold for that. That's what I get for believing Al Gore about global warming. I envy you. I'm older than the rocks but I don't completely understand the world--certainly not well enough to change it for the better. Sometimes it's good to get a lot of experience before changing the world. Or sometimes you can skip the hard work and run for President. Linda December 21, 2007, 10:34 AM Shaun must be off saving the world, because all of his posts were on Dec. 10th, and then he left us.:uhoh: jeepmor December 21, 2007, 11:28 AM That's like saying "I want to be rich and famous" and yet having no plan to become rich and famous. Technosavant December 21, 2007, 11:35 AM Changing the world: Easy, a piece of cake, really. Changing the world for the better, now, that's hard. Changing the world for the better on a global scale, good luck with that. It isn't impossible, but it is just this side of it. illEagle December 21, 2007, 11:54 AM Huh? macFarlaine December 21, 2007, 12:00 PM ? please change it from your side of the pond Shaun. Rule556 December 21, 2007, 12:35 PM Good luck. AZAndy December 21, 2007, 01:57 PM Personally, I want to be a race car. Or maybe a helicopter. AZ_Rebel December 22, 2007, 01:36 AM I, for one, miss old Shaun! His post on the Hawken http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=322551 was so insightful that it made me re-evaluate all my rifles. Even if he must be from Indiana and misspelled it as "India".... Shaun, Shaun... Come Back!!! Linda December 22, 2007, 08:56 AM I, for one, miss old Shaun! His post on the Hawken http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=322551 was so insightful that it made me re-evaluate all my rifles. Even if he must be from Indiana and misspelled it as "India".... Wow, spoken so eloquently.........like it was taken right off of the box.:neener: Maybe Shaun is visiting India right now.:uhoh: markmc753 December 22, 2007, 11:17 AM The reality is that by our mere existence, we all do change the world. By our thoughtful, or, thoughtless action and inaction, we determine the shape of that change. Carpe Diem
