I just accepted a new job offer in DC:what::eek: The job is too good to pass on, and I cannot wait to start, except, I will be regulated to sheep status in one of the most dangerous places in America. If Heller is sucsesful, will my VA ccw allow me into DC? I will be in a federal office building, so even if it allows me legal carry, I think the building will be off limits anyway.:mad:

Any sugestions...I have commited to myself that I will drop the 20 lbs of dest lard, begin running again to get better stamina, and get back to boxing or some form of mixed martial arts to be better prepared in a CQB situation.

It's looking like mass transit to and fro.

Good luck on the Metro. I visit my sister there several times a year, and have never felt more vulnerable than in DC. 100% of the gun owners are criminals!

Not likely, and in any event not real soon. I don't think Heller is going to be the landmark decision folks are hoping for / fearing. SCOTUS is going to rule as narrowly as possible.
