I received an unopened case of this in the mail from an acquaintance as a gift.
I called Hornady, and found out that it was manufactured in 1990 just prior to the new "XTP" bullet design. It's a standard velocity (not +P) at 900fps. with a chamber pressure of about 17,600.
I was told by the Hornady Tech that it should work just fine in my 1953 Smith M&P, and the S&W Tech said the same thing.
Going to the range today to give them a try.

Any of you fellows have experience with this load? Thanks.

Steve
