How to Remove Front Sight from Ruger GP-100

Hello everyone,

I just purchased my 1st revolver, a Ruger GP-100 4" Stainless Steel. I also just ordered a Hi-Viz front sight and Hogue Rubber Grips. Can anyone tell me the best way to remove the front sight and install the Hi-Viz sight?

Is it the fixed or adjustable sights version?

Just above the muzzle there is a spring loaded pin. Push it in with a punch and the sight lifts out.
