Can I legally put a bayonet lug on a Springfield Armory M1A?

Springfield's M1A Standards come with a flash suppressor with no bayonet lug. I want to replace it with a NM flash suppressor with a bayonet lug from Fulton Armory.

I don't live in an AWB state. Springfield Armory utilizes some imported parts.

Do I have to be concerned about 922(r)?

The gun won't have a pistol grip.

I'm not even sure what parts are foreign made on these. I know that the following are US for sure: The receiver, barrel, trigger housing, trigger, sear, hammer, disconnector, butt stock, forearm, magazine body, follower, and floorplate. I'm not sure about the handguard, gas piston, operating rod, bolt, and a couple more things.

Thanks.

Sec. 178.39 Assembly of semiautomatic rifles or shotguns.
(a) No person shall assemble a semiautomatic rifle or any shotgun using more than 10 of the imported parts listed in paragraph (c) of this section if the assembled firearm is prohibited from importation under section 925(d)(3) as not being particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes.

M1As are not listed in 925(d)3 so none of this crap applies.

Something called an "M14S type" is on the list. I am pretty sure that's just Norincos and PolyTecs.

Yes, I believe the M14S refers to the Polytech only.

^ That was in response to "Why?" for the ban on M14's only. If the "Why?" was for "Why would you want to put that on?" Then I have no response.

Wasn't trying to hurt any of your feelings :)

How is anyone going to know what parts are made where? Other than a receiver is "made in China" written on flash suppressors, stocks, pistol grips, etc?
