I hate my Versa-Max 2

I received my Milt Sparks VM2 last week (ordered in June) and had to wait another week to get new belt loops since they were too small. So, I strap it on, holster my weapon, and go to cinch my belt.... :uhoh:
I'm getting fat, and it's Milt Sparks' fault. :D
I normally carry OWB, and the scrawny Uncle Mike's IWB holster I had doesn't have the girth the VM2 does. Normally I'm on belt hole 3 with an OWB... I'm on the last one now, and that's with sucking in my big fat belly and pulling that belt TIGHT (okay, I'm only about 150 or so, but I'm a shorty!).
Anyway... I LOVE THIS HOLSTER. It is more comfortable than my OWB holsters, and that's even with a bit-too-tight belt. I was expecting it too be good, but not this good. But wait, there's more! It also conceals my G26 better than any other holster I've tried. The hype is true. The VM2 is one of the best concealment holsters around.

Hmm, I was sure I was going to be reading about a guy who really didn't like one of the most recommended holsters out there.
I'm glad you like it. You may want to consider changing the title though.

Nah, the title is the hook. He knew exactly what he was doing. ;)

Did you go with horse hide or cow hide? For those who have them, do you preper horse or cow? I recently ordered one in cow hide (have not received it yet) and I'm starting to wonder if I should have went with horse as I've heard that the horse hide is thinner.

Black cowhide.
As for the title, I intended to draw people in but, I'm kinda ticked that my holster might make me have to buy a new belt because I'm getting fat! I really need to go to the gym.
ETA pics.

Haha, same here. I was doing some hand-wringing about making an offer.

Cowhide! All VM2's have horsehide backs regardless of front material.

Yeah, me too. I am over 2 1/2 times 150 lbs, close, very close to 2 3/4 times. But then, I can pick up 150 lbs with one arm.

Seems to be a common problem with Milt Sparks IWB holsters. Bought a VMII for my Kimber Ultra CDP a couple of years ago... great pistol... great holster... no room inside my waistband for anything these days... not even me... let alone a holster. And with the holidays upon us...

But at least we all have enough surface area to hide out a large frame gun.
