Hey.
I know this is not the right place to ask, but, I know you guys will help.
I have photos that are likely too big 4.5plus MB. And I would need to take them from my photo program and place them in here.
Is that too big of a pix. Any help ? I have been to the other sites and can not follow the how to. These are BP related.
Thanks.

If I understand you properly, you are saying your pictures are too big and you need to downsize them. This is how you do that.
Bring up your pictures. Pick out one of them. Right click on it. Then click on 'edit'. A screen will open in the upper left hand corner of your monitor. Left click on 'image'. A window will drop down . Left click on 'skew and stretch'. another window will open. On the top two '100's, backspace them out and put '50' on each line. Hit 'ok' or whatever it say's there at the bottom. Hit image again. Go back to the top 2 100's and do it again. Hit okay. Go to the top left and click on 'file'. A window will drop down. Click on save...You are done. Your picture has now been resized. Do each picture like that if you choose. Any questions come back on here. I will be watching and will correct you...Okay...DO NOT bother the bottom 2 '100's'.. Your picture SHOULD be resized down enough. If it's not, just repeat it again. Each time you do it your picture will become smaller...Okay...

You could also download irfanview online free. After you download the program open the picture in irfanview and hit options and then resize and then pick what pixel size you want to resize the photo to. 700 pixels width ought to work on this board or any board with a photo add feature, and save as a jpg. Then upload here as an attachment.

OK here's the deal , My photo program is a cheapy and will not convert a TIFF.
So I'll choose a different photo that is smaller. Can I retreive it from my desk top or photo program ? My computor is Vista and I am not all that brite when it comes to these things.
Ok It is very grainy but did manage to get it on here. The first buck this year with my Encore.
Thank you for the help.
Any help in improving the quality after shrinking larger photos ?

Good looking picture. I'm sure there must be a way but I don't know how to go about it, much less walk you through it. There's some pretty smart people on here though, I know that, even if I'm not one of them. Someone will answer your question if you just be patient and give them time to find it.
Hey, there's not a damn thing wrong with the quality of that picture as far as I can tell...Okay...

The only thing wrong with that picture is, that very nice deer isn't mine!

Wildfire,
Once I click the thumbnail, your picture opens in a new window and it is plenty big. Great quality.
Word of caution though...
If you downscale the original photo, that you have on your computer, quality will be lost.
If you increase it's size afterwards back to the original size it used to have, the quality of the original picture will not come back. Lost quality is lost forever.
So, if you want to work on pictures, save a copy first, by saving it with another name and work on that one.
This way you will always have your original photo.

I did save copies. so now that i have it figured out I'll show you guys a few more just for fun. My son shot a smaller 8 point but my photo program will not shrink a TIFF. The extra large one is my youngest brothers. And a few from the last week end.
All we hunt with are our Encore .50 cals. These things are awesome.
I know that smaller buck , well what can I say we were out to fill the neighbors freezer for letting us hunt on his land as we always do. He does not hunt and relies on us to help with the meat thing. Nasty job but some one has to do it.
