Hey :
I 'm a Varmint hunter that deer hunts. I only deer hunt with BP guns. Even during the regular gun season. All we use now are the Encores. Anyway! Even when deer hunting I can't resist when some other critter comes along.
They might scare the deer away. May sound crazy but the woodchuck was opening day. The otee was this morning. The deer get mixed in there now and then. I'm really thinking of custom building a BP barrel for my Encore for varmint hunting too. Something small. Anyway having fun ,hope you are too.

This is a great thread! That's a full-day of hunting! I haven't had the opportunity to try out my replacement Pro Hunter barrel. I do agree with it would be fun to have a smaller caliber BP barrel custom-made for the Encore. Keep us posted if you do.
