Hi folks,

I found a 37-2 w/bobbed hammer at my local gun shop today for 389.99. I looked at it and the only real marks are where the ejector star rod nubb hits the frame as it slides open, Nothin major but normal wear IMO. the forcing cone and top strap looked almost new, no buildup, the barrel looked clean with no buildup. It locks up tight, no real movement of the cly side to side or front to back(less movement than my 66-7). It is the prelock with the black finish of the 442.

Does this price seem high? Or what would be a high/low price range? Any other info would be great.

Thanks,
-James

Yeah, depending on how prices run where you live, that's too high.

That said, a hammer-bobbed 37-2 is just about the ideal carry gun (IMHO, of course). I carry an unbobbed 36, and often wish it was a bit lighter.

See if you can talk them down some. Show cash - actual greenbacks. Wave $300 in their face and be serious about buying the gun right then and there.
Then shut up and let them think.

Good luck.
