Can anyone remember and name the Huge battle/Assault rifle used by Dolph lundgren on the movie 'red scorpion'? The one he chopped off russian guy's hand holding the grenade, and shoot down HIND attack chopper? It had a Lewis MG style drum magazine on the top and large box magazine on the bottom. Is this a real rifle (dual barrel?)? or just a movie prop?

Haven't seen the movie, but the gun sounds like a fictional combination of a Degtyarev machine gun and something else.

I think that the bottom gun was an RPK light machinegun. I remember Dolf gripping the bipod as a foregrip.

drhumbert, only a movie prop. No twin barrels out there. Hinds are armored against 20mm, rifle ammo would only make it angry.

Meowhead,
What kind of rifle/subgun is that? Looks like a russian made piece. Curious to know what the story is behind them, though I think it would been unpractical.

dochumbert, I believe the company that made those was called IM Arms. They were made in the US but never went anywhere so far as I know. Basically one of those cases were someone gets an idea and tries to market it and fails.
