K frame lock work

Is the lock work - specifically the hammer and trigger - the same for K and L frame Smiths?

For older models "L" frames, (note the qualifier, I'm not up on the newer models) the trigger is interchangeable, the hammer IS NOT.

I also believe that the HAND is a different size. I would also guess that the hammer block and the cylinder stop are different. I am, however, at this moment in time "K-Frame" poor so can't say for certain.
