Question on makarov magazines:

Are 380 ACP and 9X18 mak magazines interchangable? I'm assuming it's a similar situation as 357 sig and 40 s&w mags.

My wife's owned her 380 mak for a while and we want to get some spare magazines for it.

since makarov.com only lists one mag I would assume they are interchangable

They are interchangeable, no difference at all.

Yes. They are the same magazine.

They are not really interchangeable because there is one one magazine. The only difference is what you put in them. the 9x18 and .380 use the same mag, in other words.

If you use 380 ammo you can get one more round in the mag. The only problem is you have to have the slide locked back so you can get the mag in the gun. Mark
