Hey guys,
I was looking at the 10fp in .308, and I was just wondering the difference with the 12 (bvss and vlp) and the 10fp.

The only differences I found were that it is that the 12 is roughly $100 more expensive and I believe it to be a long action (the 10 is a short).

Is this correct, and if so am I missing anything else.

Thanks!
Russ

10FP - black plastic stock 12BVSS/VLP - laminated wood stock
10FP - black matte finish , carbon steel - 12BVSS/VLP - stainless steel
10FP - 20" or 24" barrel , 12BVSS/VLP - 26" fluted barrel
The .223 12BVSS I have is the same action length as the 10FP.

Any two digit Savage is a short action, any 3 digit is a long action. The only difference then is the finishes.

Do a search for Savage with my handle as the poster and you'll see the responses I got. I asked this same question about 2 weeks ago. You can also look around Savageshooter.com
