Have any of you Encore hangunners found a really good hip holster?
The best one I can find is actually a cordless drill holster to accept my scoped 15" T/C hangun. If any of you have found one you really like pleae let me know!

Prefer the UM's shoulder or bandoleer to a hip holster.

I used to carry in a shoulder holster but found it uncomfortable as well. I ended up carring the holster on my back (semi arrow quiver style) and drawing the gun like a sword from over my right shoulder.

Makes moving through the woods fairly efficient.

Wouldn't work for me. I only handgun hunt out of stands, hopefully with a back to the chair. If I am still hunting or spot and stalk, I take a rifle.

You could try using a heavy belt and carrying Mexican style off to the side. That's what I ended up doing.

Some shoulder holsters are pretty good. I've seen a few for cheap on ebay. Maybe a month ago there were two original TC leather ones that went for about $20 each.

I will do that I have to call Dave Jansen tonight to give him all the dimensions of my hand cannon. Thanks again for the tip!
