Just Bought My First Black Rifle, a Question

I just bought a DPMS Panther .308. Can anyone tell me what this rifle likes to be fed. There is a list of what NOT to shoot in the user manual. I will be using this for hunting.

What ever it likes, it will like lots of it. I know my 5.56 is insatiable.

Seriously, any suggestions on bullet weight,or brands you have had great success with. 1 in 10 twist on rifling.
