If anyone has applied for a Conceal Carry License in Florida and are patiently awaiting for it to arrive, I received mine yesterday :D with an issue date of 7/17/03. I mailed it in on 5/20/03. So Just under 2 months from Mailbox to mailbox. Not Too Bad. :D

Damn, that's about what it took for my in state, I guess we do not get preferential treatment...:(

They have, by law, 90 days to mail it to you from the day they recieve the aplication. 6-8 weeks sounds about right.

Think mine was just a few days over 60. Round 69. Nice to have one that covers most of the Southeast.

I got one in Nov. last year. I mailed everything in in late august. Took almost the entire 90 days. Had to re send fingerprint card. The dim bulb they had at the sheriff's office doing the fingerprinting wasn't to good at it.
