...yes it has. What you're seeing is an anomoly in a post 9/11 climate. That firearm will be gone in a couple years. All it takes is one letter from the
Brady's and UMass can say "look - we got ALOT of complaints!"

One the other hand, that logo could be a caricature of the UMass president's
brother - the outlaw Whitey Bulger. Although if it is, the hat should be more
of a sombrero since he's probably in Mexico anyway.

Don't forget West Virginia Universty, the mascot there carries a "real" gun.
He even "fires" it during football and basketball games. On course, they also just killed their rifle program this year.
