Huzzah!
It was just announced that Gray Davis, govenor of the PRKa, will be subject to a recall election October 7. This is an opportunity for all of those wanting to but the "C" back in our states' name to do something about it.

VOTE, DAMMIT!!

Congratulations and best of luck. I had heard that Arnold has decided not to run, who is the likely Rep. candidate?

I hadn't heard about Ah-nuld, but that is probably for the best. The most likely canidate, given 1) Davis does get canned, and 2) that there are no Democrats running on the replacement ballot as a measure of party solidarity, there is this Darrel Issa guy. He has bankrolled a chunk of the recall petition process, othere than that, I dont' yet know that much about him.

Something that bothered me about the Lt. governors press conference. Half of it was in Spanish. Yes, I know that a big faction of this state's population is mexican, but the language of this country is (american ) english. Yes, I have a language bias, but where was an announcement for those of us who cannot understand the default language of this country and speak german, or russian, chinese, tagalog, etc.?

Yep I'm voting and you betcha I'm going to convince a lot of my relatives (many of whom are retired, living on fixed income and are pissed about their energy bills) to vote. Anyone care to guess how we're going to vote?

The people we REALLY need are McClintock, or Condi Rice if she'll run.

Good luck guys.....

We in MD just broke a 30 year run by the Democrats.....

Now let's just hope we can keep Ehrlich in for a second term so he has the time to really make a difference.

I don't know if he's still above ground, but I'd vote for Ross Perot just for the entertainment potential:D

I left the People's Republic of California to return to the United States nearly a year ago. It still amazes me that people in fast food joints here speak English. People are much more polite. I've been utterly astounded several times by people counting back change.

Michael Savage said on his talk show today that he was going to explore running as an independant...
