I am looking to buy a new shotgun for goose hunting. I dont have a lot of money so I have been looking at Stoeger P350 and Mossberg 535. I havent heard much about Stoegers, but my friend says they are good guns for the money. I have also read that the Stoeger will accept a Benelli SBE recoil reducer. I dont know what that is or how they work. Both guns are about the same price. If anybod could give me the good the bad and ugly about these guns I would appreciate it.

If the 535 is on your list, take a look at the 835, it has an over-bored barrel and weighs a little more than the 535 (better for recoil reduction)...
I have the 535, I bought it over the 835 because of the weight and "feel" of the gun.
If you can, try and shoulder the Mossberg & the Stoeger, see which one comes up better and more naturally to your eye.
Lets face it a pump shotgun is a pump shotgun, just about any manufacturer's gun will out last you & your grandkids, get the one that fits and feels the best to you, not what someone else thinks you should get...
