So far I have only heard about the accuracy of the LEO in the City Hall shootout. Of course, this gentleman, now promoted to detective, must of had his choice of firearms, so what was it he used? Glock? Sig?, S&W? or???

What GUN did he shoot?
Considering it was New York, he was a cop, and fired 5 shots, I'll bet it was a S&W 2" .38 and he fired all 5.

As an aside: Anybody noticed that no picture of the bad guy was shown?
Something un-PC there they didn't want us to see?

Taking an educated guess, I`d say a Glock, either the 19 or the smaller one authorized for off duty. Anyone hired after Jan. 1994 has to opt for a semi auto and the Glocks seem the most prevalent. Revolvers are only authorized for those hired before that date and many chose to switch over. Either way it was damn good shooting.

Don't know what he shot, but I heard on the news this morning that he was promoted and given his Gold Shield.

Apparently he's a hard core marksman, practices a LOT.

I'm in NYC a lot and see LEOs carrying Glocks (mostly) but I also see S&W semi-autos and Sigs. Curious as to what he used, especially in a crowded room at 15+ yards.

We now know that the shooter used a .40 caliber handgun, bought in North Carolina. (Good old NYC gun control laws, obviously this simply CAN'T have happened).

There are stories that the shooter may have shot the councilman he was running against because he was afraid the councilman was going to release details about him hitting a gay lover on the head with a hammer.

When I said there may be something Un-PC they didn't want to report, I may have been righter than I thought.

As THR is about shooting and the hardware to successfully do so, inquiring minds want to know... what type of firearm did the hero LEO shoot the BG with???
