Help! Altamont Grips too short

I got some black/silver laminated grips for my S&W 637 (new) They are too short! The butt of the grip frame extends about 1/8" out of the grips!

Is this normal??

I have an email to Tony at handgungrips.com (used to be Altamont, I'm told) and am waiting for a response?

What should I do?
