For as long as I can remember, I can never keep single action and double action straight. Every way that I try to remember it still fails me.

This is my understanding: Single action=trigger has one function (release cocked trigger). Double action=trigger has two functions (cock the hammer, then release it).

Am I correct? This is driving me nuts.
