There is also old BW video footage of people shoveling piles of guns into the ocean during the 1920's or in that era. Pardon me for forgetting the details, but it's sad.

Is it secure storage or simply a clever way to have a gun available after they've confiscated everybody else's? Why, no Mr. Gun Confiscating Government Agent, that's not my guns, it's a sculpture...

(Hide 'em in plain sight, sheer genius.)

Both the lever rifle and the revolver appear in condition to still fire. Not a smart chair. But exactly as intelligent as gun grabbers.

More proof of how incomprehensibly stupid the human race can be.

Why don't they sell them off to more sensible countries or save them for military use?

I never got the gun bonfire bit. Would gasoline actually burn hot enough to wreck the metallurgy on a gun? Or are we just being mean to them?

I hardly think so. They most likely tried fire because there was a long wait to use the country's one machine roller.

it would ruin the heat treat and probably warp the reciever. would it ruin an AK...probably not. Ruin an AR...definitely.

The UN poster is yet another reason the US should not be affiliated with them.

Everything those pictures represent disgusts me.

The US should withdraw all support and funding for the UN.

What I think about the UN is not highroad material........

Distroying the Ak's doesn't bother me as much as the distruction of the bolt action rifles. I bet those belonged to your average citizen who owned the rifle for hunting and protection of their family. Thanks to the UN some dictator got the green light and finanical assitence to disarm part of his population.

LICHTER, I suppose the AK could not be used for hunting or protection of ones family?
I am truly sorry, but that is the most disgusting comment I have ever heard on this forum.:barf:

I didn't say that ak's can't be used for protection or hunting. Also I didn't say the distruction of firearms doesn't bother me either. My point was rounding up the the locals old rifles in kenya or uganda and buring them is pretty reprehesible. So dont put words in my mouth
