A friend of mine has a 2-bore wall gun, and loads it with round ball or equivalent weight conicals. His powder charge is normally 250-300g of Fg or FFg.
The guns previous owner claims to have used 500g to hunt moose with it. I suspect he did this by letting the moose have the first shot.
I'm looking at making a similar gun, and would like to know what internal pressures these sorts of things normally see, as that would drive the barrel thickness and material.
