Empty Hand Training Question

I'm curious to hear from folks on this board who have some martial arts/empty-hand experience.

Are you aware of MA styles and instructors who incorporate firearms usage into their training? I'm not talking about disarming techniques, but empty-hand techniques designed to supplement the self-defense repertoire of an armed citizen.

I came across something called "operational krav maga (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7998246496424425512&q=operational+krav+maga&total=8&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1)" while putzing around the 'Net and that got me thinking about this issue. I know a bit about krav maga, but most standard krav maga curricula focus on defense against an armed attacker.

I have a martial arts background, but none of the martial arts training that I have incorporates firearms. While I am capable of modifying what I have, it would be much better if I didn't try to re-invent the wheel, as such.

Guns are a form of martial arts. There are many schools of CQB techniques for using firearms in contact ranges and how to deal with firearms encounters.

Most of these are taught by firearms trainers rather than a strict martial arts discipline although I have seen FMA techniques for disarming/killing pistol-armed adversaries.

You may want to look into the major shooting schools (like Gunsite), they will offer classes to advanced students.

Southnarc's ECQC program is about the best you are going to get for what you are looking for.

Krav Maga is Iaraeli military defensive techniques, and I believe incorporates some close combat techniques while employing a firearm. I do know for a fact that US special forces are using modified aikido jo staff techniques for gun grabs on a carbine or rifle. They work really well.
