I saw a CD 1911 at the gun shop a couple of days ago. It was only $300 used and these guy usually let me try it first(the shop is at the range). Is this a bad deal on a range beater?

I just want to shoot my kimber a little less.

What are experiences with these, I've read a few lately that were'nt so hot.

They are armscor's, right? People seem to like the RI's pretty well.

Anytime you can acquire a .45 for that price with the added bonus of trying it out; doesn't sound like a bad deal at all...
I had the same idea of saving some wear & tear on some other pistols when I purchased a Llama...It turned out to be one of my favorites....:)
Yes, Armscor....

With try before you buy on a used gun its hard to go wrong IMHO. Get a box of the ammo brand(s) you would be most disappointed it it didn't work with and give it a go.
