Significant differences are in the P32's lighter weight and thinner width. The P32 is a much easier weapon to conceal than the Tomcat. I suspect the Tomcat (I have a P32) is a bit more robust. Both are good .32 ACP pistols.

the Tomcat weighs about 1 lb. and the p-32 about 7 oz. I would not call the Tomcat any more robust than the Kel-Tec, because it uses a simple blow-back operation that has lead to cracked slides and the "tip-up" barrel unlocking during firing. Beretta says these problems are now fixed via a thicker/heavier slide. I'm not saying the Beretta is not a very nice gun, it is. I looked at the Beretta for a while, but then came to the conclusion that my .38 snubbie is about the same size and weight.

P32 is smaller and more concealable. Lighter, thinner, and the price is better. MIne works like a charm and I carry it all the time.

Give me an e-mail if you'd like to play with mine for a while. It's been reliable and fun, but I don't ever carry it.

I've had both side-by-side, and fired both in the same session. The Tomcat is significantly wider and heavier than the P-32, but the recoil is about the same. I liked the Tomcat's sights better than the P-32's, and it seemed to point more naturally. For my "always" gun, though, I stuck with the P-32.

I own both. I doubt that I will ever carry the Beretta again. Forget the numbers, the P-32 carries MUCH smaller than the Beretta. The thinness and lightness are what I believe make the significant difference.
The Tomcat is a legitimate pocket gun, but it really isn't in the same class as the Kel Tec.

I've got the p-32 too. Being summertime, how do you all carry it?

I keep mine in a DeSanti pocket holster. Love it. It goes with me everywhere, even when I'm in the back yard (great for moles :D )

I've got an Uncle Mikes for it, but it creates a big bulge in my pocket (no comments please) and the backstrap is visible from the pocket opening. Maybe get bigger jeans? Or overalls? I've tried the clip which works loose, and a ankle holster. The best place in the winter is in a button down shirt pocket. Keep looking???

I carry my P-32 in a minimalist Kydex holster I made. I didn't like the De Santis Nemesis I tried because the gun could separate from the holster too easily. The Kydex grips the trigger guard and requires some pressure from my middle finger to release it after I've got a hold on the grip. It works in any pocket for total stealth carry or anywhere else without the gun separating from the holster.
One square foot of 1/16" Kydex will make about 3 holsters, so there's enough left to make one for a P-3AT and Rohrbaugh R-9....
