I have a paddle from them that I use for IDPA and I love it. I will use it to CC when it is cool enough to cover.......that is after I receive my CHL. I also just got the Locking paddle for the GF to use in IDPA too.
Glad I could help

I ordered the paddle holster and MTAC holster from comp-tac as well as a gun belt. Ive been wearing the paddle holster some today(after church for obvious reasons). It hugs pretty tight to my side, way better than the XD gear holster that came with the pistol.
The only prob I have is the holster is designed to be worn behind the belt and has little tabs that hang the bottom of the belt so it wont slide up on draw. But my jeans have a belt loop on my hip, right in the middle where the holster should be. So I have to tuck the paddle inside my jeans, no biggie.
I havent tried the MTAC IWB holster yet, but Ive heard some good reviews, thats why ordered one.
Delivery was pretty quick compared to some holster companies. I ordered on 12/27, package arrived 1/5.

Actually, the CompTac paddle is designed to be worn like you are wearing it. The edges are designed to catch the belt, from behind the pants...if that makes sense. Most are designed that way.
Nice holster..........Shoot well

I believe Kramer Leather makes a good one. The Michigan state police paddle or something along those lines.
Here is a link to their products. (http://www.kramerleather.com/products.cfm?categoryID=25)

Makes sense to me. I was just assuming the Velcro on the tabs was put there for belts with the Velcro sewn to the back.
It would probly work great either way, if my belt loop wasnt in the way. I just have to make sure the waistband on my boxers is up enough to keep the paddle off me skin. The paddle has a very smooth finish on the back, but it will stick to ya. lol

I really like my comp-tac paddle. When I called to order I asked them if they could make it as "conceal-able" as possible - meaning a nice, close fit to the body. It worked out great.
