I don't know if I like 'em or not - I just don't know. I do know that I prefer fixed sights.

Sometimes, I have to give up a bit of energy to have a load print reasonably with a fixed-sight revolver. :(

I've not found adjustable sights to be a hindrance with service sidearms and they can provide that small energy margin.

My favorite revolver is the fixed-sight Model 21.

I prefer tritium sights and, unless I missed something in the catalogs, these are only available for adjustable-sight revolvers. So it goes! Decisions, decisions, decisions. . . .

There are some tritium front sights that can be installed on some fixed-sight revolvers. For example, you can install a Big Dot front sight on a fixed-sight GP-100.

Also, there are alternatives to factory adjustable rear sights. One good choice is the Bowen Rough Country adjustable rear sight for Ruger and S&W revolvers. It is very rugged and less likely to snag on clothing than factory adjustable sights.
