Tax Refund

What are you going to do with your tax refund? Buy a new toy (like a gun), pay off some bills, save it, or maybe take a vacation? I don't really expect much of a refund as I'm in a lower income bracket, but you wouldn't know it by what they charge me in taxes!
What I do with it depends upon how much I get back. Probably save it. How about you?

As much as I would love to sock that money away for the kid's savings, I fear that I must pay off some outstanding debt. Oh well, easy come and easy go. :(

Gun-fucious $400 per child doesn't sound too shabby. I would feel lucky to get $100 back.

I refuse to "waste" it on bills or debt.
I'm going to "blow" it and do my part to support the economy.. depending on how much, it will have to be spent on ammo or AR goodies :)

dang just realized this is the children only tax refund...
:banghead: I knew I hould have claimed my motorcycles and guns as children!!

Since I get squat and part of it was my money at one time, please spend it on firearms related stuff for your children. This tax cut is afterall for the children.

I put an Underwood U.S. M1 carbine on layaway today in anticipation of my refund. Its in about 90% condition with all matching numbers.

I'll use it to pay off and close a credit card account. I'm looking at it as paying for the stuff I already have.

Anything I get goes towards next year's taxes.

The rebate isn't a rebate anyway.. it's an advance on next year's credit. You'd just be putting the money back in the same pot.

Gonna buy a 3rd car so my old Porsche doesn't have to get beat to death as my daily driver.

However, I haven't told the wife that the tax cut went into effect, so I have an extra $40 every 2 weeks for gun stuff

My refund will be used to purchase either a .357 revolver or a .45acp

You mean the child credit or the $8 a week decrease in withholding? I'll try not to spend it all in one place...

I'm thinking about ordering 3 CZ52's (one for each kid) and putting them up for when they are older. Other than that it will be used to pay off some debt :( .

I try not to get a refund. I want to break even. I would rather have my money during the year instead of giving the government an interest free loan.

NJ3, I'd rather invest in something that gets the kids outside. I got your point, but it would be the kids who'd sit in front of the tube, not me!

Let's see. At $400/kid, I could get each of them a new .22 (but two of them already have their own .22s), maybe another couple of 20 gauges with youth stocks ... or I could be a greedy old man and put the whole thing toward a new Super Match for me! :D

M38, I don't (won't and can't) have kids, but we still got a tax cut.

I'm going to plough it back into school expenses.

Well since I have made the decision to not burden society buy having kids, I won't be getting a refund ... Sorry, I don't get that. Kids are not a burden unless their parents are unwed and off the tax rolls.
