I bought a Uberti Walker from S&S about 4 months ago as it was the least expensive I found after a significant survey of internet sites. It took two weeks to ship (was not in stock when I ordered it, which they advised, and I said to go ahead anyway). When it arrived it had a Taylor's label on the box. It is an excellent gun.

It's a family business which still gives traditional attention to it's customers. I believe there may be more than one there, but the Phil I talked to when I ordered a rifle from them said he would look mine over before it shipped to be sure there weren't any of those flaws we sometimes see when we receive our BP guns. When mine arrived, it was beautiful! Not a single thing wrong even if I tried to be picky. I intend to buy from them in the future.

I am very interested in getting the 1861 Springfield looks like one hell of a rifle just wanted some feed back on the establishment thanks for the input.
