This is a heads up especially for you .40 and 10mm round gun shooters.
I just received a flyer in the mail from Berry's Manufacturing and they have a new plated .401 ROUND NOSE 180 grain bullet now!
It isn't on their website yet but if you are interested their contact info is:

Email sales@berrysmfg.com
Phone 1 (800) 269-7373

The price in their flyer is $17.99 for 250 Product number 238-854
$62.99 per 1,000 Product number 445-855

These are FREIGHT PAID prices to the lower 48 states! $3 service charge for orders under $25.

I do not work for them, but I do shoot a lot of their bullets. They work fine for me.

Berry pays the freight?

On all their bullets, or just these?

If all, my credit card is going to take on HELL of a pounding the next couple of days!

On all bullet orders. Of course the shipping is figured in the price of the bullets, but at least you know exactly what you are paying when you order.
I have been dealing with them for years without a problem. (Well there was the time my bullets ended up in Michigan, but that was my fault for supplying the wrong Zip Code!) :banghead:

That still makes the shipped price cheaper than the price I'm paying for similar bullets at gunshows in the DC metro area.

And Berry bullets have a good reputation.

Check pricing on Berry's bullets from Cabela's
Depending on what you buy, their price and their "order dollar amount based shipping", it may be slightly cheaper to get them from Cabelas.

For MORE ACCURATE bullets at competitive prices, Try ROZE Dist. for Zero JACKETED bullets, or Montana Gold. Their prices all include shipping to lower 48 too.

The big thing about Berry's 180 bullet mentioned is theat it is ROUND NOSE and fully plated. Competition revolver shooters will appreciate these bullets. Just about all (including Zero) FMJ type bullets have exposed lead at the base of the bullet. This contributes to range lead pollution.
I did check the Roze website and could not find any plated or totally encapsulated bullets. Also no round nose .401 bullets. Their website prices are good but on most bullet to bullet comparison that I did they weren't any cheaper.

Hmmm ... went to the ROZE Dist. website, liked their prices and I decided to give 'em a go.

They want a copy of my ID to buy reloading components (not finished ammo mind you ... just the components). Plus, their shipping policy seems to be a bit vague ("No valid shipping methods are available for your order. You will be contacted regarding shipping when your order is processed. " .... might just be the software they are using).

Just bought mine through Berry's. Prefer their process.
