Nice with a 21 inch barrel with full choke. Barrel is not too long and not too short. Can one shoot slugs and buckshot on this one?

I'd definitely swap out the Turkey Extra Full choke tube for a Mod or ImpCyl tube, but other than that IMHO your idea is a good one. But I'd not try to force slugs or buckshot through that tight a tube.

I used the same sort of 870 Express Turkey model for a couple of years as my only long gun in a big-city apartment a few years ago. It's about perfect as a one-gun one-barrel shotgun battery. A 21" VR RemChoke barrel with a Bradley bead up front and a midbead, plus a pocketful of choke tubes, and you're good to go for about anything a shotgun can do. I got mine used for a bit less than $200, and still have it among the pack of 870s here.
