loc tite removal

I got some loc tite where it should have gone and now the threads are gummed up with loc tite Any body know of a solvent to disolve this stuff.

Acetone solvent, fingernail polish remover, CYA adhesive solvent from the hobby-shop.
Lock-Tight also sells a solvent for any of the grades it sells. Try an industrial supply store for that.

Their web site suggest that all you need is a little heat. Got a heat gun or torch?

Gun degreaser and a rag. It gets brittle and flakes off.
