OK, I've decided

thanks to alot of input from ya'll. I think I'm gonna start carring in a fanny pack. But now I have to decide which gun to buy. Glock 26(had one, sold it, regret it). Kahr mk9 or pm9 (had a mk9 and I liked it. was too heavy for pocket carry and no iwb carry for me,ala last post)pm 9 looks real nice but I'm afraid of the frame problems kahr has been having, and it'sa bit pricey too! The subcompact xd-9 looks nice and the price seems fairly reasonable. I am however a little concerned about the long haul, will it hold up and etc. Also the xd's grips they say are set up more like a 1911. I am not a big fan of the 1911. Could cause some problems? By the way I did carry for a couple of monthe my MK9 iwb and it started rusting in about the 3rd week. I carried my glock iwb for about 6 months and never had any problems! Anyway as you can tell I'm fond of 9mm and in a small pkg. What are ya'll's opinions???

Out of the choices you post, for fanny-pack carry, I'd unhesitatingly go for the G26 as by far the best option. Better mag capacity than the Kahr, legendary reliability, ability to use hi-cap 15- or 17-round magazines if you have (or can get) them... what's not to like? Just get a holster in that fanny-pack so that the trigger is covered, or use a Saf-T-Block, and you're good to go.

Agree. Once you go fanny pack, a lot of typical concealment considerations go out the window.
Get the big fat glock with all the bullets in it. :)
Besides, you already want to replace the one you sold, so now's a good opportunity.

With a fanny pack go for the XD or Glock, as thickness is not an issue. The subcompact XD should be able to use the standard XD40 mags which should give you at least 14 rds of 9mm. for under $25 a mag. The standard capacity Glock mags (15 or 17 rd.) are available, but at higher prices. Both should be reliable. It should probably come down to which feels better to you and which one is most comforting to you.

for all the responses. Looks like the glock is the way to go. I do regert selling mine, so now is a good time to replace it. I might still consider a pm9 simply for the fact that I might church carry it in my pocket sometimes. That is the only reason I would need something littlier than a glock. I've never carried in a fanny pack so I'm sure it might take some getting use to. But even if I ever try to carry iwb or owb again, I wear my shirt untucked 6 days a week. So maybe the glock would even conceal at those times too. Thanks again for all the reponses and if anyone has anything to add, please feel free to. I always enjoy reading the ideas everyone else has!!!!
