Ruger does not have a warrantee, except in those areas that require it by law. They do repair thier guns, and from what I hear they do it free quite a bit, but they don't have an actual warrantee anymore.

If it's their fault, they fix it.

Bolt fell apart on my Mini 14 while at the range. Ruger offered to replace the whole gun for a mere $325. Would not repair or replace the bolt. When I bought it, it came with a [U]lifetime[U] guarantee. Was told they changed that. Was my problem. Wouldn't even sell me the parts.
Before that had a 10/22 that would not feed. Sent it back three times. Never did feed with anything. Got tired of screwin' around with a .22 and traded it back in to the dealer (at least they backed it up).
I'm only 100 miles from the factory, but they wouldn't back up their guarantee twice. Would have driven down there in person if it would have helped. Can't understand why they wouldn't want to help a local fellow - still don't.
Short of it is I've got a slew of Mini 14 parts scattered around the house in plastic bags - lots of mags...
Never, ever, made a worse investment in a firearm - total loss.
Sold off all the Rugers I had, even the ones I liked, and will never give them a dime again.
BTW, my Brazilian-made .22 that replaced the Ruger has never even had a hiccup...
Gotten better service on Czech, Romanian, Chinese, Russian and Polish guns - maybe they just like Americans better than Bill Ruger's heirs.

While cleaning my .44 Magnum Superblackhawk I lost the transfer bar. I sent it back to Ruger they replace it and cleaned my revolver and it only cost me shipping. Ruger is the best

I love the 204 ruger It is dead on.
Take the mini 14 to a Texas Gun show. Those rednecks will buy anything. Within a week it will have been used in an armed robbery and will be confiscated anyway. Good luck with Ruger!
