How much do they cost? It'll be a lot cheaper to shoot than my PLR-16...and not as LOUD

Personally I think it looks funny and is big in all the wrong spots but if I knew somebody who had one I would need to try it out. I wish Kel-tec would make a little .22lr pistol on the P3AT/P32 frame.

Not for me In a P3AT size so could use for practice yes This way not interested. Ruger new 10/22 pistol will be more relieable and accurate and I think its ugly to.

I've just never seen a reason for one of these chopped-rifle pistols.

Wear it on a sling under a trench coat I guess? ;)

Even then, I'd rather have a short barrelled AR with a collapsible stock.

I wish Kel-tec would make a little .22lr pistol on the P3AT/P32 frame.

True. I keep wondering why they don't have a complete line of .22LR, .22 mag, and even some .17HMR too.

Be nice to see a single stack .45 ACP from them also. Keep it P11 sized but make it weight more maybe?

As long as I'm wishing, how about a single stack Glock 26?

Sorry for Hijacking the thread.

Looks like a fun time, and ammo is still cheap enough.

Call me a party pooper but what do I get from having a giant unwieldy .22 handgun? It just seems like it'd be far harder to shoot well than a regular .22 handgun.

I have to admit that it looks kinda cool. Not necessarily practical - but cool. Although I'm still trying to figure out why they would need to thread the barrel for a compensator -- how much can you reduce the recoil of a .22LR?

So here is a dumb question, how are you suppose to hold it?

If it's a blow back action, why does it still have the gas tube?

You hold it with the handle on the back. ;) Seriously, it can't be that heavy and the recoil is going to be mild.

As for the gas tube... why does it have a magazine sized for .223???? They think it looks cool.

That is seriously disappointing. I thought it was going to be something like the Grendel when I saw the thread subject.

I would be all over a 20+ rd .22lr in the P-11 form factor.

Looks like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. No thanks!

I too find the gun to be somewhat "interesting," but not one I would add to my accumulation. Now if Kel-Tec or others would come up with an extreme hi-cap .22 that could be easily carried concealed, I would have one in a heartbeat.

Looks like it would be a lot of fun, but it also looks like exactly the kind of thing the mass media would be all over if it were to be used in some school shooting.

This has got to be the meanest looking .22 pistol ever, and I think for that reason it's going to be very popular with young people raised on Halo, Unreal, etc... If I was 14 I'd be all over my dad to get me one of these pistols.

With a barrel that long and sights that far apart, it could potentially be one of the most accurate and hard-hitting .22 pistols too.

If it's a blow back action, why does it still have the gas tube?

So it looks more Kalashnikovy. See above. It looks like the .22 version of this pistol is using a lot of the same parts as the .223, and KT had to put something in that space between the hole in the front of the receiver and the front sight, probably found it easiest to stick a dummy gas tube in there.

From what I can see in the picture, it looks like there is a little hole in the dummy gas tube right behind the front sight. Is that a little daylight coming through?

Unless the mags are reasonably priced, that'd be the deal killer for a burn up ammo fast plinker .22. Should have made it take Ruger 10/22 extended mags, reasonably cheap and plentiful.

As long as we're wishing for something they'd make I'll reiterate the one thing I want them to put out:

Sub 2000 in .45ACP that takes XD45 mags.

I'd also take an XD9 that takes Hi Power mags but they don't seem interested in that either.

The grip angle seems too steep to me.

I like the idea of a high capacity of a .22 pistol. Like the large mag on the 10/22, but I would want to be able to holster it for walking and hiking/hunting, or put it on a sling.

I will pass. My latest project was a 10/22. I like fun little .22, I have 3, but I will pass on this one. I really want high accuracy on my guns. If I can not hit what I am shooting at than it is a non-starter and this one seem tough to aim. Might be fun with a red dot, but lots of weight on the barrel end.

I'll be adding one to my .223 PLR's as soon as they hit the gun shows.:)
