Can a Beretta Tomcat magazine be disassembled? If so, how? The owner's manual is silent on the issue.

I have a .25 cal 950 B Brazilian made Berettta Jetfire, and I push the center of the base plate and slide the base plate off. Be sure to be ready to catch the parts as the magazine spring will release and could go flying. Good luck, Lou

I just took the magazine apart last night on my Taurus PT25 and didn't do what LouBurris said and my parts went flying in every direction. I spent 2 hours last night trying to put it back together with no luck. If you take it apart, hang on to it. My owners manual is absolutely useless for this problem.
