OK, I know this is a vague question to ask but a friend asked me that the other day and I couldn't even begin to tell him or give any advice. I've never been a Glock person, I just never found one that fit well in my hand so I've never kept up with them.
He was wondering what model seems to be the biggest seller, Model, caliber, etc.
I'm hoping some of you out there could give me a little insight on the matter, barring personal preferences, actual true popularity and issued weapons numbers are what he was interested in.

I would say the 17 in 9mm.

With all the governmental contracts, has to be the 17, right?

I would GUESS the G17. It was first, longest production run. Police / miltary contracts, and if you own Glocks it seems like you either own one, owned one, or plan to acquire one.

Issued weapons and overall popularity, agree the G17. Current popularity I'd say G19 also in 9mm.

In the United States I see more Glock 22s then just about any other but that is likely due to it being a very popular with LEOs.
Worldwide I would guess the original Glock 17 probably takes that honor.
My analysis and a buck will get you well not much these days.

Non-Leo's = G17/19
Leo's = G22

We have a hard time keeping any in stock. But the most popular would be either the 23 or 19.
