The man I work for traded for ane with a thumbhole stock(pistol) it is in .308 he being a cautious man said why don't you take it out to the range and try it.
I gladley went and found the pistol-rifle or whatever it is to be not as bad a s a hot 44 mag and definatly nowhere nere a 454.
Now here is the question is the Striker leagel because of the lenth of the barrelor what? I was told that I couldn't cut a Mauser that had a bad four inches of barrel at the muzzel and a broken stock downn as it was not leagel to make it a pistol! What is the difference between a 308 bolt action (pistol) and the same length 8MM bolt action (pistol)????

a bolt action pistol is papered as a pistol

a shortened rifle needs to be registered as a SBR

once a pistol always a pistol

if you buy a TC contender as a rifle you can not config it as a pistol

but a TC contender pistol can be built up as a rifle

Thanks! that cleared up that, and no I am not going to get a special permit to build a pistol out of a $49.95 8 MM rifle.
