Saw a new in box FEG AP22 at the dealer today. Looks like a walther ppk. wanting to know if anybody has info on it, looked and can't find much at all about them except they were only imported 1997 and 1998, also what would be a fair price

A friend picked one up in excellent condition a few weeks ago for $200 with 4 original mags. I see them with a higher asking price on some of the internet sites. I got to try it out using Federal bulkpack HV copper plated ammo. Worked perfectly but I recommend a little orange or red paint on the front site for visibility. It is a good, all steel, inexpensive copy of the PPK or maybe the PPKS from what I can tell. But $300 less than the French Walthers and a whole lot less than the German ones. Bill

I am really a fan of most of the FEG products. The P63 being the only exception. The 22 and especially the SMC-380 and SMC-918 are on my list of guns I have to get my hands on. I have a PJK-9HP that has been perfect.
